For the purpose of developing the spatial-territorial strategies of Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, as well as the master plans for selected cities (districts), the team of engaged international consultants, specifically Group Huit (France, lead), Buro Happold (UK, member), and Infratech Consulting SDN (Uzbekistan, member), started their next mission in Uzbekistan on 9 December 2025.

During the meeting, the work completed to date, existing issues and proposals, as well as ways to address emerging challenges, were discussed. Based on these discussions, the activities to be carried out in the next phase were agreed upon.

In addition, under this contract, work is underway to sign supplementary agreements for the development of master plans for rapidly developing areas, specifically Kamashi and Yakkabog’ districts of Kashkadarya region, as well as Muzrabod and Qiziriq districts of Surkhandarya region, and the administrative building project for the Denov district government.
